HISTORY
Robert Moseley, also known as "Videobob" always had a love of video cameras.
At the age of 16 he bought his first VHS camcorder and took it to his favorite heavy metal bar, "Joe's Garage" in west Fort Worth. There he would video tape all of his favorite bands, including Pantera who was the house band at the time.
After doing this for several years and watching his collection of equipment grow from a single camera to a full mobil video production studio in the trunk of his car, he put his archive of more than 300 live music video's on the local cable access in Fort Worth.
The show became a mixture of local metal, and underground comedy.
Little quick clips from movies and other stuff made the show so off the wall,
most people did not know what to make of it.
But Videobob kept on.
Soon, the show was under attack by the local "do gooders" who did not want that
kind of "filth" on the air.
The show had been removed from the air forcefully several times and after much negotiation
with city council Videobob got it back on..... unfortunately the censors won.
The show began to lose viewers as it was more boring without the uninhibited bang it used to have.
The final "wild" episode that landed the show off the air was the "Butt pickle" show.
When a local drunk had passed out at a party, Videobob and friends decided it would be fun to draw on his back,
put women's make up on him, and ran a few kosher dills down his butt crack!
Boy, was he surprised when he woke up.
He never really know it happened until he saw it on the air!
But he was a good sport about it....
unfortunately there were some old ladies who were not such good sports.
The show was yanked from the air, and the tapes destroyed by the city.
So now, a much tamer Underground Connection still runs in re-runs.
The End.
